About the Miiavest:
Miiavest is a unisex vest knitted in half brioche stitch. The work begins with the back piece, which is knitted first. Then stitches are picked up along the shoulders for the front piece. When both the front and back are completed, the body is worked back and forth with two buttonholes, to the desired length. Finally, the buttons are sewn on, and a crocheted edge is made along all edges for a neat and even finish.
Recommended needles:
Circular needle 4.5 mm (80 cm / 100 cm)
Crochet hook 4.5 mm for edges
Materials:
Yarn: The vest is knitted with double strand Lanolin Wool from Dale Garn.
Buttons: 2 pcs (20 mm)
Yarn amount:
Lanolin Wool from Dale Garn (50 g = approx. 100 m):
500 (900) g
Note: If you choose another yarn, always check your gauge. Be aware that the required amount of yarn may vary depending on yardage.
Gauge:
16 stitches = 10 cm in half brioche stitch on 4.5 mm needles.
